Condolence: Dear Andy, Arrone, Bradleigh, and Marcellina,

Hal and I are deeply sorry for your terrible loss.

Like Lowrina, her obituary was beautiful, and the accompanying photograph showed her just as she is in the image of her in my mind. Her smile lit up her whole face with happiness and friendliness, and she was always interested in and sympathetic to others.

I remember well the laughs we had when Hal and I helped her get ready to move to Germany, and getting Bear loaded to go to the airport on moving day over his objections. Marcellina, you were pretty young at the time, but you were very calm and adult-like. If I remember correctly, you had the airline tickets, and came up with them when your mother had a tiny "panic attack" about their location, and then she laughed at herself and said, "Oh that's right; I gave them to you," or words to that effect.

Lowrina and all of you have been in Hal's and my prayers for some time, and you will continue to be in them. If there's anything we can do for you, please let us know.
