The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Samuel Ganaway can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

I grieve because I have lost a dear friend, but I rejoice for the time we had together here and more for the time we will have in eternity. I could be silly or serious and Sam would always accept me just as I was. He never judged, only genuine love and compassion. He enjoyed life and the outdoors to the fullest when he could and rarely if ever showed any dissatisfaction with the life he had. I loved him and all his family as if they were part of my own, and will continue to in the years to come. He will be missed here in the days to come. I will remember him and all the good times we had. I know he has entered his rest, and awaits those he loves. May our God give us comfort in our loss in the days ahead.
