Condolence: Jewel, I am so very sorry to hear of Mr. Sam's passing. For the very short time of knowing him from the Courtyards where he and my dad, Sam, shared a lunch table, I thought he was a "jewel."

Condolence: Dear Jewel,

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of loss. Sam meant a lot to me as I worked with him at First Baptist Church in Grandview MO as his secretary for two years before moving into the position of church secretary. Sam was a kind, thoughtful, and caring man. I have thought of you and him many times since you moved to North Carolina. I'm sure he's having a grand reunion with all his loved ones who preceded him, but most importantly he is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whom he loved dearly. Sam was a dear man and he will be missed!

Blessings and Love,
Jerry and Sandi Malone

Condolence: I grieve because I have lost a dear friend, but I rejoice for the time we had together here and more for the time we will have in eternity. I could be silly or serious and Sam would always accept me just as I was. He never judged, only genuine love and compassion. He enjoyed life and the outdoors to the fullest when he could and rarely if ever showed any dissatisfaction with the life he had. I loved him and all his family as if they were part of my own, and will continue to in the years to come. He will be missed here in the days to come. I will remember him and all the good times we had. I know he has entered his rest, and awaits those he loves. May our God give us comfort in our loss in the days ahead.

Condolence: I have many memories of my brother Sam--from the hay fields to working the dairy he was my early confidant. I learned more early life instructions from him than I did my parents. I wish we could have maintained closer contact in later life but our lives went in different directions. I may be the one at fault but it was surly not my intent. Still I want to share the good memories of Sam with his wife Jewel and children Joanna, Glen, Neal and Rubin.
