Condolence: Hearing of Uncle Everett's passing bought back memories of "the good old days." Four brothers who went off to serve their country and all came back. Thank-you God. Four brothers who gave me my first job and taught me what a full, hard days work was. Thank-you God. Uncle Everett was a good man and I have good memories of him, my aunt Carol and my cousins. The last time I saw Uncle Everett was at my father's funeral. We turned a sad day into one of happy rememberances with some funeral games. I think Uncle Everett slam dunked over Doug but my memory might be a bit off. Have a good day remembering all the cool stuff Everett did.

Condolence: Dear Minck Family,
I just wanted to send you my condolences for the passing of your father. Uncle Ev was a wonderful man. He was a great part of my childhood and I had a lot of admiration for him. I have many fond memories of Uncle Ev and all of you: Christmases together, playing basketball, wiffle ball games, him taking me to Yankee games and to the Petermann Soda Company where we also played basketball indoors in the small gym they had there. And who could forget the "clean plate club"?!
Recently, Carla and I moved to a new house and upon moving, I came across an old Petermann Soda Company box with some of my belongings in it. Embedded in that box was an unused Petermann bottle cap, which I have kept on my bureau as a token ever since. Carla, as well, will always remember Uncle Ev for his wonderful sense of humor and warm smile.
I'm very sorry that I most likely won't be able to attend the services, but want you all to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all and I'm sending my love. Perhaps someday we'll all get together again,

Sincerely, Glen
