Ann Knighton Christopher, age 70, of New Bern passed away Wednesday January 3,2018 at home.
She is survived by her sister Lynn Erickson of Raleigh, her four children, Nicole Kirby of Oakboro, Dr. Michele Rohrer of Wilmington, Matt Christopher of Hampstead and Ashley Dorn of New Bern, and her eight grandchildren Nate, Aidan and Gracyn Kirby; Davis Cernugel; Leighton Dorn; and Elle, Riely, and Millie Christopher.
“Robbie” was a wife, a mother, a nana and a friend. She was kind, generous, caring and selfless.
She was a loyal friend, confidant, teacher, animal lover, avid crafter and basketweaver. She will be remembered for her generosity, her dedication to her family and friends, and her love for animals.
There will be a graveside service for her immediate family on Friday. A visitation will be held for her beloved friends and family on Saturday January 13 from 10-12 at Pollock’s Best Funeral Home in New Bern N.C.
In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations in Robbie’s name to some of her favorite nonprofit charities: Coastal Animal Rescue Effort 1808 Sir Tyler Drive Wilmington N.C. 28405 or Carolina Boxer Rescue PO Box 87 Hampstead N.C. 28443.
