Francis "Frank" Gerard Kispert, 83, of New Bern, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport . He was born on October 18, 1933 to Frank and Clara Kispert in Queens Village, NY. He attended St. John's University and served in the U.S. Navy 1955-1957. Frank was a Contractor Administrator at Eaton Corporation until retiring to New Bern in 1990. He served in the Coast Guard Auxiliary for 20 years.
Frank was the loving husband of Pat Kispert for almost 62 years. He is survived by his 3 children, Rosanne Martino ( Steve) Dennis Kispert (Mary) Mary Ellen Gavin (Ed), his 6 grandchildren,Timothy, Kristina, Laura, Matthew, Kelly and Brian and 4 great-grandchildren, Michael, Angela Lea and Bentley. Frank is also survived by a brother, William Kispert (Joanne), a sister, Kathleen Kenny (Jack) and a sister-in-law, Helene Kispert (late Michael) along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 30th at 11:00 AM, St. Paul Catholic Church, followed by burial with military honors in St. Joseph Cemetery.
