Jerry Grayson Willis, 77 died Sunday, March 12, 2017 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Jerry lived in the Vanceboro/Ernul area his whole life. He was a farmer and a carpenter. He retired from Hatteras Yachts in 2008. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and feeding his squirrels and birds. He also loved watching Carolina play basketball!

He is survived by two daughters; Julie Willis and husband Alex of Vanceboro, Jenna Dudding and husband Billy of Cove City, two sons; Carl Willis of Raleigh, Scott Willis and wife Rebecca of Ayden, two grandchildren; Matthew and Lauren, sister Regina Moore of Vanceboro, and was happily anticipating the arrival of twin grandbabies in August.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 7:00pm at Pollock-Best Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Glosson officiating. The family will receive friends at 6:00pm one hour prior to the service.
